Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs)
Washington University CRNAs are exceptionally skilled, professionally driven, and intellectually stimulated. The University employs over 80 CRNAs practicing at six St. Louis area facilities: Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis Children's Hospital, Barnes-Jewish Hospital West County, Barnes-Jewish Orthopedic Center, Missouri Baptist Hospital Obstetrical Division, and Progress West Hospital. Besides providing clinical anesthesia for all surgical specialties, our CRNAs teach student registered nurse anesthetists at the Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College, and are involved in departmental research projects.
